President Biden has, again, another bout with Covid-19. Though he is reported to be fully vaccinated, complete with all required boosters, he is still a sick president. However, his actions still render consequences, as to the following action with one of the lawmakers.
Awhile back, President Biden nominated Senator Joe Manchin’s wife, Gayle Manchin, to the federal co-chairmanship of the Appalachian Regional Commission, a job partnership agency of the United States. These kinds of jobs are usually given to spouses of influential Congress members, either as favors or as enticements to subject the particular congress member to a position more favorable to the president. Indeed, that appears to be the case here, as Senator Manchin had changed his initial opposition to the major spending bill called Bill Back Better to one of a still-substantial, trillion-dollar bill that would ostensibly curb inflation.
Yes, it now looks like Manchin was bought off by the Biden administration but more investigation is needed. In my opinion all politicians should be investigated by the FBI and they must pass a lie detector test and if failed to find the truth. If you are a politician and can’t pass a lie detector test then you must step down.
