Section 230 of the Communication Decency Act was passed in 1996.ร‚ร‚ย  Section 230 says “interactive computer service”ร‚ร‚ย  can’t be treated as the publisher or speaker of third party. It offers immunity to websites for any content uploaded by third parties, for instance social media posts.
