Today’s op-ed is about the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and it’s nexus with China, Russia and Europe. The United States GDP is expected to be almost 21 trillion dollars at the end of 2021, while China is expected to finish just shy of 15 trillion. I have written articles on the GDP in relations with China in the past, but this article is going to go in a different direction. We will compare different countries, depending on how certain points will be made that will show how the United States can move for the better of our planet.
Global warming is a concern for a lot of people, and depending on your country it will affect different countries in many different ways. For instance, for most of the States in the U.S., smog was a huge concern from the 1950’s through the 1990’s. The biggest change was California creating the first state-mandated Air Resource Board, which made rules on vehicles with minimum testing standards for vehicle catalytic converters. From there, the state expanded to virtually every engine that uses fossil fuels or other natural burning fuel product. The goal was to turn. Yet I haven’t found this use to be in any other state and yet they figured out how fo fix global warming. Just this one device would stop 95% of all pollutants being stopped and the end of global warming.
China is still using coal fire energy plants, and will continue to do so for decades as they have been exempted from most of the global mandates. The United States have none being built this year. I personally believe we could build 400 Nuclear Power plants world wide which would relieve the use of coal fired energy plants world wide and this would help the GDP of the world.
In addtion, trees are being planted on a large scale. In fact, there are more trees today on the planet than at any time in history, due to replanting strategies and sensible mandates. Trees, among other vegetation including algae in the oceans, help raise food products, as well as cool the earth by a small amount. In addition, more trees will allow for more birds to flourish, which in turn helps our flowering trees and plants to regenerate and blossom.
I could write at least 20 books on the topic of GDP, nuclear power, and cleaning our planet so please read my articles and pass them on remember we are only as strong as our weakest link. Thank you for reading my articles, and let’s go forth and bring the world to a good state of affairs.
