    1. Title: Same as Project Title at 4-1 above. (Should already be filled out)
    2. Subtitle (Optional): “Puzzle-a-Day Special”
    3. Edition: Leave blank
    4. Edition Statement: Leave Blank
  7. Under “Contributors” create 2 contributors clicking “Add Another Contributor”
    1. Under Contributor 1
      1. Role: “By (author)”
      2. First Name: “Leslie”
      3. Last Name: “Francis”
    2. Under Contributor 2
      1. Role: Illustrated by
      2. First Name: “Jonah”
      3. Last Name: “Kyle”
  8. Under “Copyright”
    1. Click “All Rights Reserved – Standard Copyright License”
    2. Leave “Copyright Holder Name” blank
    3. Leave “Copyright Year” blank
  9. Under ISBN
    1. Select “Use a free ISBN”
    2. Click “Get a Free ISBN” button
    3. Copy ISBN number to Excel sheet for later use
  10. Click “Design Your Book” button
  11. Open Window Explorer to folder location: C:\Users\mresa\Desktop\Bookmaker
  12. Open file “main.go” using UEdit
  13. Edit file “main.go”
    1. Line 45 : Change to applicable 4-digit year
    2. Line 47: Change to ISBN Code from Excel sheet for applicable year
    3. Save file “main.go”
  14. Hold shift key while right-clicking in folder
  15. Click “Open command window here”
  16. One command line, type: go run main.go
  17. Wait for runtime (up to one minute)
  18. PDF will be created named “Quotefall-Yearbook-20XX.pdf” where “XX” is last two digits of applicable year.
  19. Open PDF file and make sure of the following:
    1. Page count is exactly 134 pages
    2. Applicable Year is correct
    3. Copyright format is correct (ie, starts with “2006-” and ends with current year)
    4. Applicable ISBN number is correct
    5. On page 4, make sure puzzle applies to first day of applicable year using calendar
    6. On page 126, make sure first puzzle’s answer is correct
    7. On page 125, make sure puzzle applies to last day of year
      1. If leap year, there will be three puzzles on page ending with puzzle #366 for Dec. 31
      2. If non-leap year, there will be two puzzles on page ending with puzzle #365 for Dec. 31
  20. Navigate to File > Print
  21. Under Printer, select “Microsoft Print to PDF”
  22. Click “Print”
  23. Under file name, enter “K:\Quotefall\Content\” + applicable Year + “\” + applicable Year + “.pdf”
  24. Click “Save” and wait for operation to finish (about 30 seconds)
  25. Close go-created PDF file
  26. Move go-created PDF file to folder under step 23 above, creating internal folder “legacy”
  27. Open print-created PDF file in folder under step 23
    1. Navigate to File > Properties
    2.  Make sure under “Advanced” that “Page Size” is “8.50 x 11.00 in”
    3. Click “Cancel”
  28. Make sure of the following:
    1. Page count is exactly 134 pages
    2. Applicable Year is correct
    3. Copyright format is correct (ie, starts with “2006-” and ends with current year)
    4. Applicable ISBN number is correct
    5. On page 4, make sure puzzle applies to first day of applicable year using calendar
    6. On page 126, make sure first puzzle’s answer is correct
    7. On page 125, make sure puzzle applies to last day of year
      1. If leap year, there will be three puzzles on page ending with puzzle #366 for Dec. 31
      2. If non-leap year, there will be two puzzles on page ending with puzzle #365 for Dec. 31
  29. Close PDF file.
  30. On Lulu website page, under “Interior File Upload” upload the PDF file by dragging it or using upload process.
  31. Wait for upload process to complete and validate. It can take up to a minute.
  32. Ensure that the green notification shows, “Your Book file was successfully uploaded!”
  33. Under “Book Specifications”
    1. Step 1: Book Size and Page Count
      1. Make sure text box under “Book Size” displays “US Letter (8.5 x 11 in/ 216 x 279 mm)”
      2. Make sure text box under “Page Count” displays “134”
    2. Step 2: Interior Color: select “Black & White Standard”
    3. Step 3: Paper Type: select “60# White”
    4. Step 4: Book Binding: select “Paperback”
    5. Step 5: Cover Finish: select “Glossy”
  34. Under “Design Your Cover”
    1. Select “Upload Cover File”
    2. Click “Download Template” button
    3. Navigate to K:\Quotefall\Yearbook_Cover_FINAL\ + applicable year + \Source folder
    4. Save Template file to above folder. Stay in folder for Step 35
  35. Open applicable year Photoshop PSD file
  36. Navigate to “Image > Image Size”
  37. Make sure the following items are correct:
    1. Document Size > Resolution: 300 Pixels/Inch
    2. Pixel Dimensions
      1. Width: 5284 Pixels
      2. Height: 3375 Pixels
  38. Adjust items as needed
  39. Click “OK” and close Image Size window
  40. Drag ISBN image file onto photoshop window
  41. Make sure ISBN image layer is above the cover layer
  42. Move and size ISBN number in ISBN white rectangle on cover (Lower center left, below text “Quotefall.com”)
  43. Double-check ISBN with Excel sheet
  44. Open cover template file downloaded in step 34
  45. Navigate to “Save As > Image > JPEG”
  46. Save cover template image to same folder (should be current folder as other items)
  47. Make sure image dimensions for saved cover template image file is 5284 x 3375 (pixels)
  48. Drag that saved cover template image to Photoshop document as top layer
  49. Set opacity to 50%
  50. Make sure cover template layer is an EXACT fit over cover design
  51. Make sure all text and images on cover design meet bleed and safety area settings
  52. Hide cover template layer
  53. Navigate to “File > Save As…” and select
  54. In Save As dialog box, on “Format” selection dropdown, change to “Photoshop PDF”
  55. In “Save Options” uncheck “Layers.” Ignore warning triangle and leave “As a Copy” checked
  56. Click “Save”
  57. In “Save Adobe PDF” window, ensure “Adobe PDF Preset:” text box shows “Lulu-Cover-Print-PDF (Modified)
  58. Click “Save PDF at bottom right.
  59. Open PDF file and make one last check.
  60. After validating PDF file, close it.
  61. Upload or drag PDF file to the area in “Design Yuor Cover” section on the Lulu design page
  62. Make sure green check mark and “You successfully uploaded a cover file! …” shows up
  63. Click “Add Book Details”
  64. Under Project Details
    1. In “Description”, copy and paste the following:

    1. In”Lulu Bookstore Category”, select “Games”
    2. In “BISAC MAIN CATEGORY”, start typing in the box, then select:
      GAMES & ACTIVITIES / Puzzles
    3. In “BISAC CATEGORY 2 (RECOMMENDED)”, start typing in the box, then select:
      GAMES & ACTIVITIES / Puzzles
    4. In “BISAC CATEGORY 3 (RECOMMENDED)”, start typing in the box, then select:
      GAMES & ACTIVITIES / Puzzles
    5. Under keywords, copy and paste each keyword ONE AT A TIME into the text box. It will be automatically formatted
      Quotefall, quotation, puzzle
  66. Under “Audience”, select “General/Trade – Adult fiction and nonfiction”
  67. Leave Explicit Content box UNCHECKED
  68. Click “Add Pricing and Payees”
  69. Under “Set a Retail Price”, then “Set Price”
    1. Under “Set price by”, select “Fixed List Price”
    2. Under “List Price” set the following amounts in the designated boxes
      1. USD: 14.95
      2. EUR: 14.95
      3. AUD: 17.45
      4. GBP: 13.95
      5. CAD: 18.45
        NOTE: Prices in “Lulu Bookstore Revenue” and “Global Distribution Revenue” will process after each entry
    3. “Payee for your Book” should be “Michael Resann”
  70. Click “Final Review”
  71. After review of “Title and Book Specifications”, check “Confirm Book Specifications and Files”
  72. After review of “Copyright and Title”, check “Confirm Copyright and Book Details”
  73. After Review of “Book Details”, check “Confirm Book Details”
  74. After reviewing prices and payee details, check “Confirm”
  75. Under “Retail Options”
    1. Under “Retail Distribution”, check “Global Distribution”
    2. Under “Lulu Bookstore”, click “General Access”
    3. Click “Publish to the Lulu Bookstore” button
    4. Once green checkmark with “Your project has been published in Lulu Bookstore” shows, it’s done!
