Fox News has many great shows on politics every day. In particular, watch Juam Williams on Fox News Sunday with Sandra Smith. You can just fast forward to the approximately 38 minute mark and watch the question she gives Juan Williams and his responses. But prior to Juan Williams remarks, they play an audio tape of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy speaking, “I’m seriously thinking of having that conversation with him (then-President Donald Trump) tonight and I think this will pass, and that would be my recommendation you (Trump) should resign. I mean, that would be my take, but I don’t think he would take it but I don’t know.” He said he was going to have the talk that maybe President Trump should resign.
Now, McCarthy had never said that he never had this conversation with Trump. However, Juan Williams had actually implicated that this conversation was true, and that he (McCarthy) assertively asked President Trump to resign. In addition, Juan talks about the January 6th 2021 march as an insurrection. However, no one has been charged with insurrection, and while mainstream news seems to push that particular narrative, one can never see or read any statement by President Trump that purports an insurrection happend. Remember, protesting and free speech is NOT an insurrection, and Trump in fact urged all protesters to remain peaceful. Please contact Fox News and have Juan Williams address this falsehood which he is perpetuating. In the near future, we will be providing information on how many videos on January 6 belie the narrative of insurrection. Democrats must do better if we are to remain a valid political entity in this great country of ours.
