In a rampant crime involving a man maliciously using an SUV to mow down people in a parade in Wisconsin, five people were killed, along with at least forty others, many critically, in Waukesha, Wisconsin by a man already bailed out on another charge. Darrel E. Brooks, who was let out on bail of 1,000 dollars, from a charge that he ran over another woman in a car. Why is low bail a priority for many big city district attorneys and sitting judges? This horrific crime that this man caused was avoidable if his original bail hadn’t been so low. Now his bail has been set for five million dollars, one million for each person he (allegedly) killed.
