Republican Glenn Youngkin has won the governor’s race for the state of Virginia, along with the Republicans retaking the state house of the legislature. This will put an end to the inroads that progressive have saddled onto their citizenry, with moderate Democrats holding the key to safe, sensible legislation along with the Republicans. In addition, Winsome Sears easily won the Lt. Governor seat, becoming the first black female to hold a major state office, as well as Jason Miyares, who became the first Latino elected for state attorney general, to complete the GOP sweep for the three statewide offices.
The election losses in Virginia for the Democrats makes the November 2022 midterm elections extremely troubling for the party. There are two major bills in the United States Congress which aren’t looking good, and the Democrats may be in trouble. Will House Speaker Nancy Pelosi be able to bring home the bacon? Looking back at the Obama administration when Speaker Pelosi pushed through the Affordable Care Act during President Obama’s 1st term, it caused the Democrats to loose both chambers of Congress to the Republicans by 2014, and it is looking that way right now.

They had finished the regular season at 87-75, barely holding on to secure the last wild card in the league, then went on to win the wild card game, the National League Division Series, the National League Championship Series, and finally the World Series. What made their win even sweeter was that Major League Baseball had pulled the All-Star Game last July because the state enacted common sense voting laws.
