Georgia loses All-Star game due to changes in voting laws

April 5, 2021 by Robert Jordan

Major league baseball to pull the all-star game from Atlanta Georgia. The reason being stated by major league baseball is the fact that Georgia changed it’s voting laws from 2020. The voting laws were changed in 2020 due to Covid-19. The state as a few other states were changed to allow ballots to be sent out to everyone even if they didn’t have I.D. or even if they didn’t live in the state or had died. The new Georgia laws took the best and made better laws requiring I.D. but gave more time to vote and day of voting has 7am to 7pm also allowing voting for weeks and on weekends to allow everyone to vote.
