Christmas shopping is just crazy, even amidst the biggest recession in decades. We need more workers to fill all these job openings. Both of the biggest commercial ports in southern California, the Long Beach and San Pedro (Los Angeles) ports, are full of ships waiting to unload, while store shelves are empty of certain staples like water, paper towels, toilet, and yes, even Sony PS5’s. My dad is 94 years old and has tried to buy the PS5 and the retail price is around 500 dollars, yet we say the price at some stores have it from 750 to almost 1300 dollars brand new, and they were still sold out. If you need certain toys and electronic equipment, you may find better prices online, though make sure you order in time for Christmas.
