Today is the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, precipitating the entry of World War 2 by the United States. Several thousand men and women died on that fateful day, as the United States had to perform the most significant military operation in the history of the world over the next four years. God bless our veterans and all they do to keep our country safe.
One of the biggest disappointments are the amount of city district attorneys around the country who fail prosecute crimes, as well as mandate little or no bail for inmates. They are overwhelmingly Democrat, and all share a common theme: Their campaigns are usually bankrolled by progressive groups. They claim they are saving the communities money, upwards of $70,000 per year. Yet once these criminal start getting arrested over and over again then they can’t get a job so they think they must rob, rape or kill their victims to stay out of jail. This sets a dangerous precedent, as now citizens feel they have to take it upon themselves to protect their homes, businesses, and families. Coupled with a severe reduction in law enforcement, it appears that the REAL agenda is to criminalize self-defense, as we have seen with the McCloskeys in Missouri, and Kyle Rittenhouse in Wisconsin. We need better laws and we need more policeman and keep dangerous perpetrators in jail with responsible bail amounts.
