Biden’s first year in office is, sadly, an abject failure

In a rare press address, President Joseph Biden made the statement that he has done more in his first year than any other president, and he is not a socialist like Bernie Sanders. The president said he did not overpromise, yet he didn’t complete most of the promises that he made when he was first elected. The biggest mistake was his abysmal failure on the withdrawal from Afghanistan, in the process leaving thousands of US citizens and green card holders behind, and leaving the woman who are now either dead, raped, or forced into marriage by the Talban. His inaction on the border has escalated illegal immigration to record levels, and climbing. His loss of control of the economy has led to the worst inflation in over 40 years, and portends a collapse of the US currency. Finally, he promised to end the Covid-19 pandemic, yet a few days ago another record was set: Over one million people caught Covid, notably the variant Omnicron, and has propelled the Administration to take harsher measures. In short, weheld such promise for a new Democratic Party control of the presidencyand Congress, but instead it has transformed itself into the most un-American government in history.
