Address truck driver issues

Robert Jordan

November 28, 2021

Now I want to bring up a point about the logjam in the ports of San Pedro and Los Angeles harbors. I have still kept an eye on those two main harbors and the unions who hire the longshoremen. What I really see is the problem of truckers and the vehicles to carry the containers, which has been just fine up to a few months ago. The main problems I see now is if trucks are over 10 years old, they can’t be used which is a fact that needs to be addressed. In addition, allow people at 18 years o age to get their trucker license and allow them to buy their own truck rigs, or work or companies that allow such employment. Loosen up so these young men and women get a share of the good life and give them a small business loan. Much more efficient that college, in my opinion.
